A Little About Me

Interior design brings together many of my life-long passions: organizing spaces, making an environment beautiful, and helping to create a real sense of "home" for people. For as long as I can remember, I was constantly rearranging my bedroom, drawing up floor plans, looking at paint swatches (just for fun!), and flipping through magazines to get inspiration.

Formally, I received a BS in Interior Design from the University of Alabama. I worked in both residential and commercial design in Alabama and Nashville, TN. After taking time off to raise two beautiful girls and work in ministry with my husband, I launched Meg Hoburg Design in Washington, DC in 2016. It has been such a privilege to work with clients in the greater Washington area to create beautiful, cohesive spaces that respect the rich elements of our historical homes while bringing in fresh design to be the setting of a wonderful story.

Capitol Hill has been our home for 22 years and we hope to remain here for a long time.
